Butterfly Bear

Hello everyone! Today will be a quickie...I made this adorable Butterfly Bear card to share with you all and hope it 'inspires' everyone. I cut this little guy out and popped him up and also scaled him down vertically. I acquired a few swirly punches from my sister, so had to use them on this card.
I'm a bit of a photography nut and decided to prop the card on a mirror to get this mirror image effect at the bottom. Its nothing new but something different and neat!
I hope you like the card and have a wonderful week.

Happy Monday Everyone

Hi all,
Well the first day of fall has come and gone, but you'd never know it here in Florida. I think the high today is going to be around 88! But regardless I am getting into the fall holiday spirit, so with that being said, here is my card for today...

I colored in the image with Copic markers, of course!LOL I used Halloween colors to give the idea that the cupcake is like a pumpkin. I then added Tim Holtz grunge bats, inked them up and added glitter to them to give them a bit of bling!
I hope everyone likes the card and that you all will have a fantastic week!
Take care - Jodie

Happy Saturday again!

I don't normally like cats. Just not my thing, but this little one is adorable!
So mischevious a look on his face.
And so I decided on this background paper with the ONE goldfish showing, making you wonder where the rest are? And him bearing flowers? yea, right.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have this site marked for daily visits.
(I hear there may be a new challenge again soon - so stayed tuned)!
Now get out and enjoy this lovely fall weather!

Pet Angels

All pets go to heaven...
Hello my crafty friends! it´s me, Ileana, and I´m showing you another card I made to inspire your Fridays using Pet Angels super cute stamp (you can find it here!).
The patterned paper is an oldie from my stash and I chose it because of its versatility and soft colors. I punched tiny hearts and glued them around the image as a frame. The sentiment is hand written on a scrap of embossed vellum paper with fine markers, I cut each word separately with edge scissors, I distressed a bit their borders with chalks and glued them around the frame of hearts.
I colored the image with colored pencils and used puff white fabric paint to make the cloud, and finished the card with touches of gold metallic paint.
Hope you have a wonderful Friday, see you next week! and don´t forget to stop by for daily inspiration!

Christmas Surprise Kitty

Good Morning!
Wow, I can't believe its Tuesday again. Time certainly does fly. Christmas will be upon us before you know it. I've been making Christmas cards when I can and decided to make this cute Surprise Kitty into one. Working ahead, I put together my next card last week....I must have been high on caffeine because it had everything on it but the kitchen sink which really isn't my style. After some thought, the image was salvaged and came up with this final creation to share with you all....a.bright, cheery simple card.
Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday

It seems like I never have enough birthday cards on hand, so this cute little cupcake can do the trick...

This cutie was colored in with my Copic markers. I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the pink cardstock, then added my saying and a charm for a bit of bling.
The chocolate chips on the cupcake were white pearls that I used my Copic marker on to make them brown!
Enjoy your Monday everyone and have a great & creative day!

Saturday Celebration!

Happy
Saturday!
Thanks for dropping by to see my card!
I combined this card into my challenge over at the Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturday challenge today too, and it was to make a Birthday Card for the Operation Write Home.
I thought this was a cute card for some of those soldiers who are in the desert and wishing for something cool! I love the background paper, makes me think of water and waves.

Sew fabulous!

Hi everyone! welcome to another inspirational Friday, today is my turn to inspire you with my creation.
This is my first post as a 2 Cute DT member so I need to introduce myself before describing the cards. My name is Ileana, I live in Madrid (Spain) and I have a wonderful and supportive family. I discovered the digi world at the end of 2010 and I jumped into blog land this last January (my blog here), so I´m pretty new to all this and I´m loving every minute! I´ve been crafting all my life thanks to my mom but I started making cards four years ago, it all begun as a self imposed therapy and I got completely hooked by it! Soooo... enough of rambling about myself! let´s jump into the fun part.

For this first post I made two cards with different colors schemes: boy and girl maybe? I chose this overly cute Cat-knit, printed it out twice on white paper, I colored them with crayons and oil pastels and blended them with mineral oil.
here is a closer view (click the image to enlarge). Do you want to know how I made the yarn? I hope so!! I used white puff paint (the one I have is fabric puff paint but any kind will work great too!) to draw the threads, let it dry and puff it with iron steam, once it was all puffy and pretty I gave them color with chalks. I took black paint and retrace the kitty arm to bring it to the front again. To finish the images I glued a piece of green or pink embroidery floss, cut and place them with foam tape on the cards.
The sentiment is from TLC creations that I printed out on craft paper and the finishing touches are flowers made out of scraps of paper, ribbon, left over buttons, brads... you can use whatever you have at hand! The green patterned paper is an oldie from my stash and the pink paper is wrap paper I saved because I liked the pattern a lot.
I hope I´d inspired you with this two cards. I´ll see you all next week, have a wonderful Friday!

PS: and don´t forget to stop by for daily fun and inspiration!

Bewitching Wednesday!

As soon as I saw this sweet little Cupcake kitty, all I could think was how versatile he could be! So here is my Halloween cupcake kitty! I colored him with my Copics, the paper is from the Ravenhead Manor by Recollections. I made the flower using the same ribbon that runs down the center of the card. I pulled the black thread so the ribbon began to scrunch up then wrapped it around and around and stuck to glue. The leaves are spiderweb punches from Martha Stewart. What can you do with this cutie?

It's Tuesday !

I’m Kathie, one of the new kids on the block and for my first post, I present to you this super cute Cupcake Kitty card I made.

It is such an honor and I’m thrilled to be given this fabulous opportunity to create along side the others on the DT! I’ve only been cardmaking since July this year and it certainly has been a wonderful journey! Did I say I was addicted?

I don’t mean to get sappy but I dedicate this card to my fellow DT mates and new friends I hope to make going forward. Now back to the card.

I made this card using fall colours as it is almost upon us. It is a very beautiful time of year here in Ontario, Canada but I am not looking forward to the cold winters we have.

The image is coloured using Copics and I used the Atyou Spica markers on the sprinkles. I just picked up the corner dies by Provo Craft and I love them! I’ll try not to use this one on all my projects. LOL

Until next week…..have a wonderful Tuesday but do come back to see what my other DT mates create this week.

Hugs, Kathie

Even though this little guy is a cool customer, I used orange, red and yellow for the card. He is colored in with Copic markers and the print paper is handmade with gold accents.

2 Cute Rubber Stamps Saturday

Hi everyone! Happy
Saturday to you!
Here's the cute little bee that I used for my card today! I used my Nesties Scalloped Ovals and then I also used Glossy Accents on the heart. The flowered paper came from the Flower Shower Spring Matstack.
I have a few people I've not stayed in touch with probably enough, so this would be a great card to send just to let them know I was thinking of them.
Hope if you are considering applying for the DT here at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps that you get your stuff in on time. It comes up really soon! I also hope you were able to get the freebie images from a couple weeks ago.
I'll see you all next Saturday, but don't forget to check back every day and see what the other DT members have to show you. They are an amazing bunch!
