Happy Saturday!

Well, Halloween is tomorrow, and so I guess I'm off to start on Christmas time already! I think because I got all my halloween cards in the mail, I'm done with it already!(or maybe it's because I snitched a couple pieces of candy today!)
But I've barely started the Christmas cards.

Here's the cute little kitten sitting on a package. And my snowflakes goofed up a little, so I added some bling! You can always use more bling.
Or I can!
Go check out the store and see what cute little images you can buy to get started on some "unusual" or mostly animal Christmas cards. Using some of these images can be a novel way to not be like everyone else's holiday cards! Happy Weekend everyone

my little ladybug...

This is an iPod box that I recycled it and turned into a photo frame. I love how it turned out! the black of the box contrast in an excellent way with the colors of the images and embellishments. This frame is for my little lady, I just need to pick which picture... hard to decide!
I used Sleep ladybug and Butterfly (you can fund them here!). I printed the images a paper with some tooth on it and colored them with colored pencils, cut carefully around and placed them on the frame. Then I started playing with a few little things I found on my stash: cardstock cut with edge scissors to frame where the photo will be placed, a piece of fabric that I ruffled and used it as grass, some dollar store flowers, buttons, paper string and glitter here and there to make it all sparkle! On the back I placed the sentiment.
How cool is this??!! I feel so good when I recycle, hope you like my inspirational project today and have a happy Friday everyone!!!

PS: remember you still have time to play with us at our current challenge, there is a 2 Cute free image for you to use!

For you {DAD}

Hi everyone! hope you have a wonderful Friday! and you know it´s my turn to inspire you here at 2 Cute Rubber Stamps.
Today I made an envelope, I´m so fond of them.... first because they are so versatile: you can put so many things in them like a letter, a gift card, money, a small present... or even a card! Second, they are so much fun to decorate! it´s a small paper bag that comes in many colors, I bought mine in white and craft because I can use them for every need. And I could give you a lot more reasons why I like them!
I´m using this time Best of Friends Owls stamp, you can find it here. I colored it with colored pencils and blended them with gamsol, cut the image carefully around  and placed it on the envelope with foam tape. All you need to do is add a few embellishments like the cloud and buttons I used, but you can add whatever you have at hand or like best. Endless possibilities!!

And just wanted to remind you we have a challenge running with a free image to play with, you have until October 31st to submit your creation here!

Halloween a little early....

Well, you have to work ahead if you want your cards to arrive before Halloween!
Isn't this a cute little image! I remember dressing one of my boys up like this for their first halloween. Must have been my oldest as he would only have been about 2 months old! At that age they don't dictate what their costume will be!!
I'm sorely tempted to let you see photos of my youngest (who is now 30 -and he still does a costume nearly every year! But now the costumes and/or makeup is very scary!!
Get over to the store and pick up this cutie and get busy or you'll never get it there in time!

Celebrate!

Happy Friday everybody!! here I am once more to inspire you with another 2 Cute Rubber Stamp. Remember this cute cupcake? it was last challenge freebie. I love it so much...
And speaking about challenges, don´t forget to grab the new freebie and play with us at the current challenge, it runs until 31st of October and you can win a rubber stamp! please join us!

I colored the image with crayons and blended them with mineral oil. On the cupcake I used white puff paint and glittered it before it dried, then I puffed it and the result is that wonderful glittering frosting! looks better in real life! you should try it for yourselves and see... and I used decoupage varnish to make the cherry on top shine, it looks so yummy!
Hope you all had a wonderful week and plan to spend another great weekend!

Not a picnic basket in site!

Nor a Yogi Bear.... but doesn't this crisp fall weather make you want to makes S'mores?
They are so yummy, I'd bet even these bears would love some.
I'm not much into camping out, although I realize it's a great thing for some families. I have several family members who do love it. This is a great image to use for them. Very cute.
Used my cuttlebug for part of the background, and paper from a Paper Studio All Seasons Pack.
Go to the store and check out the images and maybe pick up a couple. There is a newbie for Halloween and we are going to be having a challenge again real quick. Stay tuned!

Lots of Fun

Happy Monday everybody! I hope your weekend was enjoyable, especially now that fall is here. I have to admit, living in Florida, I really do miss the change of seasons that I had growing up in Canada, but can't complain about the winters down here being 75 degrees and no snow!
But onto more creative things...

Regarding the supplies, I used Kaisercraft paper, then I used my Spellbinder dies to cut out the image and the mat. Of course I colored in this adorable image using my Copic markers and I can't remember where I got the saying from, but it's been in my stash for awhile. It just makes me smile every time I use it.
Now of course all these amazing images can be found in Heidi's store2Cute Rubber Stamps. Be sure to go there and check out all the wonderful designs. They are available in rubber and digital format too!

Less than 3 months now....

Happy Saturday.
Today I decided to join many others and get one holiday card out of the way! This is a fun image to use for that purpose and I have a few family member who just love ice cream, so I'm sure it's a card they'll enjoy (especially if there is a DQ gift card included!)
How is your Saturday shaping up? Big plans for the weekend? If you find a little time, check out Heidi's images and find one for yourself and get started on those holiday cards. It will be here before you know it!
See ya next Saturday!

Surprise!

I made these goodie bags using Kitty Surprise, you can find it at Heidi´s store here!
Today I wanted to show you how versatile 2 Cute images are, so I used the same image with three different themes: Halloween, Birthday and Christmas. You can attach on the inside a bag with candy, little toys, or whatever you like! I filled mine with candy: gummy worms for the Halloween one, fruit candy for the B-day bag and chocolate for the Christmas.
Here is a close up of each of them:
glitter, ribbons, edge scissors, rhinestones... it´s all in the details! they are very easy to make and you can make use of your scraps to embellish them, and have fun along the way!
Have a lovely Friday!
