Thank You Owl

Hello, it is another Wednesday here at 2 Cute DT Blog. That means it is my (Juanita) turn to share a project with you. I decided to use Best Friends Owl for a Thank You card I needed for a teacher at my daughter's school. This image is so cute and fun to work with. I intended to color my image in neutral colors so I could use any colors in the background, go figure I pick DP that has gray in it, lol.

Reminder that there is still plenty of time to enter our second challenge and get the adorable bunny digi for free. We look forward to seeing what you create.

Supplies:
SU Card stock, DP, ink, brad and sentiment

FREE = FUN!

Hi there, friends! It's Amanda with you again today, and I thought I'd carry over this cute free bunny image into today to help inspire you! This darling little bunny digi image is FREE! Yes, free, people! You can click here to get it. Once you download the image, print it out, create something, (we aren't picky!) and let us know so we can check it out 'cause there is a challenge goin' on and you could win! Supplies: FREE bunny digi image from 2 Cute; Patterned Paper: American Crafts (Dear Lizzy line); Ribbon: Michael's; Punches: Circle and Scallop, Marvy; Other: Copics, buttons, thread, and adhesive half pearl.
This was an easy card to make! Rather than tying a pretty bow, which I love, but it tends to make the card too bulky to mail, I just cut a small piece and cinched it with thread and then attached my button. It's much flatter that way and is mailable!
Hop to it... let's see what you can make with this cute image!

tabby's get in trouble a lot)...so this one looks like
she's already in trouble.

Kitty Surprise

Hello everyone!! Happy Saturday... I am so excited to show you my new card I just created using Kitty Surprise Digi.. I am so in love with this stamp.. talk about adorable.. If you have looked at my blog at all, you will see that I love POLKA DOTS, STRIPES, PUFFY PAINT, & SEWING.. so don't be surprised when you see those on my creations..:)
For this project I colored the digital stamp using copic markers. After the stamp was dry I took my green copic marker and created stripes on the bow, by going over it a few times. I then took puffy paint and added dots on my kitty.. Oh I also love making lolly pop flowers.. super easy, fast, and they finish any project.. I distressed the card, sewed down my paper, and stuck the flower on it.. easy peasy.. feel free to take a look at my blog for more detailed photos.. thanks for looking HUGS

2 Cute Tuesday: Polar Bear and Penguin

Hello everyone!  Today I've managed to somehow use the same image as Jennifer did yesterday!  That's okay because this cute Polar Bear and Penguin digi is adorable enough to be used over and over again :)

Sorry for running a little late with my post today.  The weekend was busier than I thought it would be, and I'm sure you all know how it gets when you try to squeeze in too many things into a short amount of time.  Whew!  It felt good to get some coloring done, especially on these cuties.  I just love how the ice cream is spilling everywhere!  They're just so adorable :)

Remember, our next challenge is fast approaching so make sure you check back soon to get a free digi and a chance to win a prize!

Not a "DIGI" person??? And WINNER of our 1st Challenge!

I never really considered myself a "digi" person.
Not until I realized all the potential digi's had to offer.
They require no "real" space to store, can be resized, make no mess, and are full of possibilities!
Nowadays, I am in LOVE with them :)
When you purchase digi's from 2 Cute- you can use them as many times as you would like for your personal use. How fun!
So, while crafting the other day, I decided to print a bunch of my 2 Cute Digi's to make Matthew (my 3 year old) a coloring book for church Sunday.
After printing them all out, I trimmed, punched holes, added binder rings and some fun ribbon and WAH-LAH a no mess and SMALL coloring book! Perfect to throw in my purse and go!! I hope you enjoy!
You can find 2 Cute Digi's in the Etsy Shoppe and on Heidi's Blog!

We thank all of you who participated in our first challenge!

Sting Ray Kids

Hello everyone!! Happy Saturday.. I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Alison, I was ecstatic when Sammye Jo asked me to be on the design team. I remember the first time I saw 2 Cute Rubber Stamps, and this ADORABLE image Sting Ray Kids was the image I instantly fell in love with.. You can get it HERE. I wanted to create a fun, and playful card. So I used copic markers to color the image. (I added some little dots on the seaweed.. ) If any of you know me.. you know that I love 3d puffy paint, it is such a fun element to use on cards and it's only around 50cents you can't beat that. So I took my puffy paint and added little raised dots on the Sting Rays, and the white dots on the bottom of the card. I also took some clear glue and put some sand (real sand from the sand box) and glued it on. There are more detailed photos on my blog HERE.. Thanks for looking!! HUGS

All Dogs Go to Heaven...

Happy Friday! It's Amanda here with you today to share a little sympathy card.

This week, I chose to work with the Doggie Angel Digi. If you have ever had a friend or family member lose a beloved pet, then you know how daunting and difficult it is to find the perfect card to send. I think this digi works beautifully with the sentiment...

The inside reads, "So sorry for your loss..."

Supplies: Cardstock: light blue and white from stash; Patterned Paper: American Crafts; Doggie Angel Digi: 2 Cute Rubber Stamps; Other: foam tape, Cuttlebug embossing folder, button, and Copic markers (colors below).
Personally, I think this would be a great stamp to have on hand for occasions like sympathy, thank you,"your an angel" and also might be cute for a new baby, "sent from heaven". What do you think?
Have a great weekend...

Friends Birthday Gift Tag

Hello everyone, it's Juanita again. I'm kind of back but not completely. Not sure if you know but I fractured my arm about a week and a half ago. I colored this image that day just before I fell. I intended to use this image on a card but it isn't that easy using a paper cutter with one arm. I found that I could use my cuttlebug so I decided a gift tag would be perfect. I think these 2 cubs are too cute. This image is an exclusive digi called Bear Cub Friends that can only be found here. Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check in daily for the rest of the DT's creations. I hope to have something new for you next Wednesday.

Supplies:
SU Sentiment, ink, and White card stock
American Crafts Card stock
Nestabilities
Cuttlebug

2 Cute Tuesday: Best of Friends Owl

I'm back again! This is Ann with another 2 Cute Tuesday creation!

Have you checked out Heidi's blog lately? If not, you've definitely got to visit! She has an adorable St. Patty's Day Turtle Digi for sale that is just PERFECT for the upcoming holiday. You also have to look through her sketches - there are some piggies there that I'm just dying to see turn into stamps.    There's one here (Piggie in the Rain), one here (Ballerina Piggie) and one here (Piggie Love). Why are pigs so cute?  Well, at least Heidi's piggie sketches are, lol.  Make sure to leave her some comments so that she'll turn those into stamps!!

Anywho, on to my creation! It doesn't have a pig on it, but this Best of Friends Owl stamp is just as cute! I like that you can do the out-of-bounds technique with the branch.  I think it looks kinda neat :)  This stamp is available right now at the 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Etsy in cling, wood, and as a digi.

Stamp: 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Best of Friends Owl, Whimsy Stamps Snippets Set 1; Ink: Copics; Paper: BasicGrey; Accessories/tools: Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, ribbon, MS border punch

Thanks for joining me today and see you again next week!
