A first Christmas
Good Afternoon ladies I hope you are all well and are enjoying the run up to Christmas. I have had a very busy weekend and am just about to rush out again so this will be a quick post. Today I have made a card for you using the 'baby turkey' digi stamp. I am a bit unhappy about my colouring on this one though. I don't have any of my normal card left and my order is delayed due to the snow making my delivery late :( this meant i had to rush out and get some more today but it isn't as good quality.
Here is the card
I will be posting more details on my blog later xx

Christmas is Almost Here!!!
Good morning everybody,
Fall and Christmas are my favorite times of year. Having grown up in Canada, I love the crisp fall air and the first few snowfalls of winter. Hard to fathom that Christmas is only about 1 month away.
So to help get us in the Christmas spirit...
This is one of my favorite images of Heidi's. It's so versatile that it can be used for any celebratory occasion. I colored in the image using Copic markers, then pop dotted up the present to give dimension to the card.
I was then going through my stash of items and came across these great snowflake buttons, that added the bling I needed.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Jodie

I would also like to share with you a little Thanksgiving poem I found & fell in love with! Have a fantastic day!! Lots of Hugs from us all!!
Thanksgiving by Edgar Albert Guest
Gettin' together to smile an' rejoice, An' eatin' an' laughin' with folks of your choice; An' kissin' the girls an' declarin' that they Are growin' more beautiful day after day; Chattin' an' braggin' a bit with the men, Buildin' the old family circle again; Livin' the wholesome an' old-fashioned cheer, Just for awhile at the end of the year. Greetings fly fast as we crowd through the door And under the old roof we gather once more Just as we did when the youngsters were small; Mother's a little bit grayer, that's all. Father's a little bit older, but still Ready to romp an' to laugh with a will. Here we are back at the table again Tellin' our stories as women an' men.
Bowed are our heads for a moment in prayer; Oh, but we're grateful an' glad to be there. Home from the east land an' home from the west, Home with the folks that are dearest an' best. Out of the sham of the cities afar We've come for a time to be just what we are. Here we can talk of ourselves an' be frank, Forgettin' position an' station an' rank.
Give me the end of the year an' its fun When most of the plannin' an' toilin' is done; Bring all the wanderers home to the nest, Let me sit down with the ones I love best, Hear the old voices still ringin' with song, See the old faces unblemished by wrong, See the old table with all of its chairs An' I'll put soul in my Thanksgivin' prayers.

Warm Wishes
Good morning everybody,
I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving this week, celebrating with family and friends. Here is my creative sample for this Monday...
He was colored in with Copic markers. For the background paper, I just used cardstock, along with my Cuttlebug embossing folders and presto! my very own print paper. You could also add more depth, by going over the embossed paper with ink or sandpaper and get completely different looks!

Having a Great Day
Good afternoon folks,
I can't believe that we are almost at Thanksgiving already. Since all of my family is in Canada, I've got to get started on my Christmas shopping. Today my card is clean & simple & monochromatic...
This card was made all from scraps, simply using jewels and a border punch for accents. I wanted to have the image as the focal point, so the rest of the card I kept pretty simple.
Hope you're having a great Monday and remember to come by every day and see the wonderful inspirations that these talented group of ladies have to offer!

My first DT Post with a Christmas card
Hello everyone I hope you are all well today and having a great day whatever you are up too. I am the newest DT member and will be posting a new creation each Saturday for you. I am hoping to alternate between cards, gift boxes etc in the run up to Christmas so where possible I will also post instructions for the non card items so you can have a go.
Just to let you know a little about me I am 24 and am an avid crafter and also now a runner. I ran 9 miles followed by 30 minutes abs work this morning as I am training for my second half marathon I love it. I live at home with my husband and two cats and work as a PA for a security firm.
Now for the craft stuff :)
For my first card I have used the sweetest little image called Kitty Surprise which you can find here
I have coloured the image using my copic markers - I always use copics for my colouring i love them. I have typed out the colours I used below (just in case you wanted to know).
The paper I have used is from the Dovecraft let it snow premium paper pack - I love the papers in this pack they are such good quality i hate using it though because it means it will run out soon :( I have cut the paper in to 4 squares of 5.5 cm and mounted them on silver miri card. These have been stuck on to the card back using double sided tape (I get mine off Ebay) The ribbon is also a purchase from ebay i have the same type in loads of different colours.
Here is a view of the card from the side. As you can see i popped theimage up using foam squares and have also used the same paper to decorate the inside of the card.
Copics used
G17, G07, G05
BG23, BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10
C7, C5, C3, C2, C1
R20
White highlighter pen
I hope you like my card see you next saturday xx

Thank you!
Today I made a thank you bag for your inspiration. Isn´t this cat a cutie????!!!!! what a gorgeous image! this is Thank you Kitty that I colored with colored pencils as usual and blended them with gamsol. It´s a lunch paper bag and I love to dress them up! On this one I added a few details: after coloring the image I applied glitter nail polish to the flowers the kitty is holding, it gives a nice sparkle and very subtle effect, the ribbon I used is metallic in silver color to add a bit of glamour and I embellished it with a safety pin (that I threaded hot pink glass seed beads). I finished the closing of the bag with a flower that I glittered and added a pink brad. The rest are scraps of paper and you end up with a very nice looking bag.
Here (in Spain) we don´t celebrate thanksgiving, but anyway I wanted to give you all thanks for your support and nice comments on my creations, they meant a lot to me! Also, very sadly, I have to announce you I´m stepping down from my DT assignment at 2 Cute, it´s been a wonderful time for me and a great opportunity to meet wonderful people and work with gorgeous images. Thank you all again and I´ll see you all around blogland!
Enjoy your Friday!

Sadly, my last card...
Well, this is my last card as a DT member of 2 Cute Rubber Stamps. I have decided I need a little down time from the DT work I've been doing both here and at Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays and so I'm looking to just make cards as I need and want them for a little while.
I love this little image. And my hubby knew I was making up some Christmas cards and made the comment, santa claws when he saw me thinking of using this image for my last card. So..... it fits!
I hope you all continue to come back and watch how this great Design Team makes you think of ways to use the images. I understand there are some new ones coming very soon!
And since I'm leaving a little early, I'll just say - Merry Christmas to you now! Thanks for having checked my work here and don't forget to come by my blog ( Terri's Tries At Making Cards ) to see what new mischief I can get up to when the mood strikes!! Thank you all for your past support!

Small crafts
Hello everyone! here I am to inspire your Friday ☺
This time I wanted to make a small something that could be put together in a very little time with the idea to give them as small presents or part of favor bags, so I made these so easy jumbo paper clips.
I used these 2 Cute images Bumble Bee Cutie and Bunny (you can find them here!) that I colored with colored pencils and added some glitter to give them some sparkle. They are very easy to make! just printed out several images, colored and cut around. I took some scraps of patterned paper and cut circles with a round punch (distressed them a bit too). I also took some dollar store fabric flowers, pull them apart and singled each layer, I used the hot gun to glued them to the paper clip, attached the patterned paper and with foam tape I placed the images on each one. I finished them with a piece of ribbon (or fiber) and voilá! there you have them!
Here are some closeups
Hope you like this project, have a great day!!
