It's a Twilight Thing

Happy Wednesday, as you read this I (Juanita) will be waiting in line to see the midnight showing of Eclipse. I'm in CA so I will need to wait another 3 hours but I know some of you will already be in the theater watching it. So I lost track of time and desperately wanted to make a Twilight card. I knew I needed to get my 2 Cute DT card done first. For some reason I remembered there was a mention of Penguins in the book, ha, then the wheels in my head started turning. This card satisfied my need to make a Twilight card and my DT obligation :).

My card uses Penguin Fun; I cropped off as much of the ice cream cone as I could. I hid the rest of the cone with a computer-generated sentiment. The sentiment is something Edward say

s to Bella when they are talking about where to go to college. Penguins would have been part of their "vegetarian" diet, lol. Good thing for little penguin they didn't end up in Alaska. Ok I know some of you won't get this but I couldn't resist.

Happy Wednesday 2 Cute friends, today I am sharing a card featuring Thank You Cat Digi. Isn't that face adorable? I have wanted to use this image for a while and finally printed it out and colored it. I colored the flowers to go with the pattern paper I used. After I made the card I thought it needed a little something. I found this ribbon and knew I wanted to add a bow somewhere, around the flower stems was a perfect spot. I love the way this turned out.

Happy Hump Day

Good morning everyone. I can't believe it's Wednesday already. Today I am sharing a card featuring the Original Cowboy Kid Digi that is available in Heidi's Digi Shop. I made it a point not to color him in red, white and blue. I'm try to break out of my typical color combos and for this little red, white and blue are what I automatically think. I only used the blue because it went with the DP I decided to use. It truly was tough not to add some red but look I did it, lol.

I adore this little guy and think I would love to see him in different costumes. What do you think? I'm see him as a policeman or super hero in a cape. Hello it's Juanita again, with my Wednesday post. Well since it's June I thought it was the perfect time for me to use Happy Crabby again. Penguin Fun Take 2

Well Deb suggested I try mint chocolate chip. Look I made some cool ice cream colors, no chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. Don't they look yummy??

Sweet Treat For You

Hello there, are you glad the week is almost over? I am, time is going fast but my list of things to do is growing, lol. Anyways that's enough about me. Today I bring you a card featuring Penguin Fun, another fun, summer is just about here stamp. I don't know why but I can only color my ice cream these 3 colors, lol. I'm going to try some fun ice cream colors next week. Hmm I guess I'm going to have to start planning now. Which image do you think I should use? What fun ice cream flavors should I attempt to make? I used Crystal Effects on the ice cube along with some Sparkly Fluff on top of the cube.I was trying to make it look like the penguin was sitting on soft snow.

Hello, it is another Wednesday here at 2 Cute DT Blog. That means it is my (Juanita) turn to share a project with you. I decided to use Best Friends Owl for a Thank You card I needed for a teacher at my daughter's school. This image is so cute and fun to work with. I intended to color my image in neutral colors so I could use any colors in the background, go figure I pick DP that has gray in it, lol.

Hello everyone, it's Juanita again. I'm kind of back but not completely. Not sure if you know but I fractured my arm about a week and a half ago. I colored this image that day just before I fell. I intended to use this image on a card but it isn't that easy using a paper cutter with one arm. I found that I could use my cuttlebug so I decided a gift tag would be perfect. Hello, it's Juanita again. I am here for my Wednesday post. I made this card using Polar Bear and Penguin Digi, this adorable image can only be purchased here. Aren't these 2 friends too cute. I used Crystal Effects on the piece of ice the polar bear is sitting on. I also used my Clear Spica to outline the water. I love the way this image turned out, but then again I seem to love the way all these fabulous images turn out.

I colored this adorable image to go with this DP. Isn't this cat so cute with the yarn in his mouth? I realizes after I colored in the image that I didn't have many orange embellishments so I kept this card simple. I did have some orange bling but this kitty wasn't feeling the bling so I opted for clear Dew Drops. I chose this sentiment because that what I feel when I see this image.
