Happy Saturday!

Well, Halloween is tomorrow, and so I guess I'm off to start on Christmas time already! I think because I got all my halloween cards in the mail, I'm done with it already!(or maybe it's because I snitched a couple pieces of candy today!)
But I've barely started the Christmas cards.

Here's the cute little kitten sitting on a package. And my snowflakes goofed up a little, so I added some bling! You can always use more bling.
Or I can!
Go check out the store and see what cute little images you can buy to get started on some "unusual" or mostly animal Christmas cards. Using some of these images can be a novel way to not be like everyone else's holiday cards! Happy Weekend everyone

my little ladybug...

This is an iPod box that I recycled it and turned into a photo frame. I love how it turned out! the black of the box contrast in an excellent way with the colors of the images and embellishments. This frame is for my little lady, I just need to pick which picture... hard to decide!
I used Sleep ladybug and Butterfly (you can fund them here!). I printed the images a paper with some tooth on it and colored them with colored pencils, cut carefully around and placed them on the frame. Then I started playing with a few little things I found on my stash: cardstock cut with edge scissors to frame where the photo will be placed, a piece of fabric that I ruffled and used it as grass, some dollar store flowers, buttons, paper string and glitter here and there to make it all sparkle! On the back I placed the sentiment.
How cool is this??!! I feel so good when I recycle, hope you like my inspirational project today and have a happy Friday everyone!!!

PS: remember you still have time to play with us at our current challenge, there is a 2 Cute free image for you to use!

Thankful for you!

Here is my card for this week. I made this card with a friend in mind :) I love this little digi! Aren't they the sweetest friends?!?! I used K and Company paper and brown ribbon from Really Reasonable ribbons and The perfect accent button from Tim Holtz! Of course the best way to finish the card is with a heartfelt sentiment! Have a happy Wednesday!

It's Almost Halloween...

You wouldn't know it though, here in sunny Florida. Good morning everyone, I hope your weekend was fun and relaxing. Here is my Monday creative card...

The little guy was colored in with Copic markers, then I stamped the saying and matted everything with glossy black cardstock. The little gems are DewDrops, to add a little extra bling.
Please have a great week and don't forget to join in the challenge. You could win a free stamp!
Take care - Jodie

How You Bee??

Sorry for the HUGE delay, but I was having some computer problems and then some camera problems.
Here's my card, finally.
Isn't this an adorable image?
And there are tons of ways to use this image too. Just a quick, how you be? to Buzzing By, and many others. With this little heart, he could be a valentine wish also.
Go check out all the other images cause there are bound to be many you will fall in love with - just like me!
Happy Saturday and the rest of the weekend too!
